With the help of volunteers and support from the staff, the Carver Elementary PTO offers events throughout the year to build up our school and increase community engagement. This is not possible without a pool of volunteers - read about the events we offer below and sign up to get involved. There are opportunities to sign up as a general volunteer resource or be a part of specific committees - get involved in whatever capacity works for your family!

Carver Elementary conducts one school-wide fundraiser that funds our many PTO ventures throughout the school year. The Read-a-Thon offers our families and community the opportunity to sponsor the kids as they read anything, anywhere. There are low administrative costs, which means that our school community receives 95% of the money raised and students earn fun prizes throughout the event. This fundraiser requires all hands on deck to make this a record earning year - join the committee or volunteer to help as your schedule allows!
Free fun for the whole family - BINGO night is a Carver Elementary tradition to come together as a school community for BINGO, prizes and music! Volunteers are needed to plan the event, set up, help hand out supplies, take down and more!
A student favorite, the Coyote Cafe offers all students the opportunity to shop for a free book to take home from our "bookstore" before enjoying a treat with friends! This event takes place during the school day, which allows for all students to participate. The love of reading is a lifelong one, and our goal at Carver Elementary is to instill the love for reading early on. Help us make this a memorable event for our students!
A relaxing (or competitive - you pick!) night for the whole family! Join us for games and good company in the school cafeteria. Help us supply the fun for this winter event by joining the planning committee or volunteering the night of!

Join us in planning a week of events to say THANK YOU to the staff for all they do! In prior years we've chalked the walk, set out snack bars, decorated the staff's lounge, offered gift cards and more. What will we do this year?! We need your help to figure it out! Let's show the staff at Carver Elementary just how much we value them!
All students and families are welcome to join us for the annual Color Fun Run on the paths around the school! The more laps you run, the more colorful you get! Help us by joining the committee to plan this fun event or on the day of the color run by setting up, throwing colored powder at the kids, and/or cleaning up! It's an event all of the kids look forward to as they begin the descent to the end of the school year!
